- old brewery in Stralsund
The main conference days, 22-24 March, take place in the „Old Brewery“ of Stralsund. The Old Brewery was built in 1831. In its facilities, German local beer was brewed in former days. Now it is an event location, arranging concerts, parties, banquets, congresses and other events. The wort chiller (Kühlschiff) and gallery have a size of 450 + 240 m² and give space for up to 420 + 120 people. The brewhouse (Sudhaus) is of similar size and will serve as poster area with the near by winter garden.
Still a varity of beer sorts are brewed by the Stralsund Brewery, which is famous for its beer (just order a "Stralsunder" and form your own view). One of the popular beer sorts is the honoured organic Stoertebecker Beer.
In conjunction with the Old Brewery and in close proximity of it is a rustic restaurant, "Zum alten Fritz", offering, among other local typical dinings, organic beef from ecological breeding.

Workshops & Social Events
The workshops, icebreaker and dinner & dance will take place in following two of the four facilities of the foundation German Oceanographic Museum.
- German Oceanographic Museum
The parent house is located in an early Gothic monastery. It opened as a museum in 1951. Nowadays it is the largest museum of natural science in North Germany holding 45 aquaria displaying a diverse range of indigenous and tropical sea creatures. The sea turtle aquarium is the largest one in Germany. In this museum the diversity of marine life, its use to and exploration by man and the history of fishery in the former East Germany (GDR) are exhibited.
- Ozeaneum
Located at the harbour of Stralsund, the Ozeaneum is a conspicuous new building, opened in July 2008. The exhibits give the visitor an understanding of the oceans, the Baltic Sea and the research and use of the oceans. "1:1 – Giants of the Seas" is composed of selected cetaceans showing their real dimensions as life size plastics. The aquaria give an impression of the Baltic Sea, North Sea and North Atlantic. Among others, there is a 2.6 mio. liter swarm fish and a tunnel aquaria.
